We ask that you respect the staff's instructions and treat the equipment and space with respect. We strive to create the perfect setting for your creative projects in our photography studio.

General rules and conditions of the rental studio

By booking an appointment, the renter commits to the conditions presented below and accepts the following rules:

Reservation

Personal customers pay for their reservations in advance when booking online, or corporate customers pay with an invoice if they wish. Billing costs +€10

Note! The reservation cannot be canceled, but the renter can change the time no later than 12 hours before the booked time. Changes can be made a maximum of two times per reservation.

When the office is closed, entry is through the back door on the parking lot side. The premises can be accessed with a door code, which can be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking 2 hours before the booked time. For security, the codes are personal.

Use

The spaces, studio lights, decorations, props and equipment of the equipped studio are for the renter's use (if there is no special tag on).

In the premises, people go without shoes or use indoor slippers. (You can find them in the dressing room)

You don't step on the background paper with dirty shoes. If there is a need to take a picture with the shoes, they must be dry and clean. Or the pictures are taken with the remaining meters of the cardboard, saving it. The rental studio has the right to charge an additional fee for the incorrect use of cardboard.

When the office is closed, entry is through the back door on the parking lot with a personal door code.

Safety

Candles, open flames, flames or anything else that could cause a fire are prohibited in the studio. Smoking is also prohibited.

When you leave, make sure that the rental space is clean and safe for the next customers. (note! also for children)

(E.g. dangerous or sharp objects, mirrors, heavy objects, electric cables or other objects must not be on the road or in unexpected places)

The lessor is not responsible for the safety of persons on the premises. Customers also monitor their own children themselves.

The lessor is not responsible for the goods or props left by persons on the premises.

Lessor's responsibility

The lessor is responsible for the availability of the facilities and basic equipment during the rental period paid in advance. The basic equipment in the studio is at least four studio flashes, backgrounds, radio or wired synchronization of the camera. The lessor is also responsible for the condition of the basic equipment. The lessor's liability for compensation in complaints is at most the amount of rent paid in advance. The lessor is under no circumstances obliged to compensate any indirect costs. The lessor will not compensate for the lost rental time if the lessee has caused incorrect studio use, overloading the use of electricity, or other technical disturbances by his own actions.

Tenant's responsibility

The renter is responsible for his own equipment and personal injury insurance needs independently. The renter is also responsible for his own equipment, props and other goods. After use, the facilities and equipment must be in the same condition as before use. Repair, maintenance or cleaning costs will be charged for possible misuse of the studio and props.

When you leave, remember to turn off the lights (except for the coffee station), turn off the devices you are using and close the outer door.

(Note! Make sure the door is locked!) The renter is solely responsible for closing the doors when leaving. The front door must always be locked, also during the rental period

Additional charge

The renter will be billed for the lost equipment at the VAT prices of the lost equipment. Repair costs and other possible expenses will be charged for broken or broken devices. Eriksen will be charged €12.50/meter for excess consumption of background cardboard. For exceeding the paid time, the landlord has the right to charge a double fee or the normal hourly fee for each starting hour, as well as possible security guard costs starting at €99

Change

You may stay in the premises only during the rental period paid in advance. In addition to the lessee, only the lessee's assistants and models can stay in the premises. The premises may not be used for paid public use or training, accommodation, or any activity contrary to Finnish law and general morality. The renter is solely responsible for closing the doors when leaving. The front door must always be locked, also during the rental period. A security or fire alarm caused by the renter will be charged according to the costs incurred. The lessor is not responsible for possible damages and accidents. For security reasons, there are recording video cameras, door sensors and motion detectors in the premises (does not apply to the dressing room and, of course, the toilets). Unused times will not be refunded.

Camera rental company's general rental conditions

Scope of application

The terms of the agreement are applied to the rental of photography, cinematography and videography equipment and supplies between (hereinafter the lessor) and the lessee (hereinafter the customer).

Agreement

The rental agreement is binding and the customer cannot transfer the agreement or re-rent the equipment to a third party without the lessor's written consent.

Other than invoicing customers pay the rental amount in advance in the online store of the Vuokrastudio.fi online reservation system.

The subject of the rental

The object of the rental is a separately listed device or equipment owned or controlled by the lessor that is used in Finland. Rented equipment can be used under normal operating conditions suitable for each equipment and to the extent intended for each type of equipment. Connecting devices to e.g. continuous automatic operation is not normal use.

Renting

The lessor hands over the equipment to the customer after it has been inspected and is in working order. When receiving the Equipment for Rent, the customer must inspect the equipment, accept that the equipment is in proper working order and that the number is as listed in the contract. If the customer notices defects in the operation, condition or equipment of the equipment, the lessor must be notified immediately. In the event of a possible failure, the lessor will immediately take measures to restore the equipment to working order.

Rental period

The rental period is defined in the rental agreement and the rental prices in the lessor's price list valid at any given time. Any conditions deviating from the Price List must be agreed in writing. Pick-up and return of rental equipment must take place within the lessor's opening hours. The pick-up and return date is included in the rental period, unless otherwise agreed in the contract.

Lessor's responsibilities

The lessor is responsible for the equipment for a maximum amount corresponding to the rental amount, and is not responsible for damage caused to the customer due to possible equipment breakage, defect or deficiency. The lessor is not responsible for any indirect damages under any circumstances.

The lessor assumes that the customer controls the usual and proper use of the equipment. The lessor supplies the equipment with their user manuals and possible safety instructions and provides the usual user instructions. In a separate agreement, the lessor can organize more extensive user training, which, however, does not extend the lessor's responsibility for the use of the equipment. The lessor is not responsible for the use or suitability of the equipment or for possible incompatibility with third-party hardware or software. The lessor is responsible for ensuring that any software and storage devices and media are in working order at the time of rental, but is responsible for any disruptions during use up to an amount equal to the rental amount. The customer must take care of possible file transfers and backups, as well as software compatibility.

Responsibilities of the customer

The customer undertakes to use the equipment professionally and carefully. Damage to the equipment caused by damage or careless use during the rental period will be repaired at the customer's expense. The customer will replace any lost, destroyed or stolen devices during the rental period in full with the purchase price of a device of the same type and in the same condition. The customer is not responsible for the natural wear and tear of the equipment. The equipment may only be serviced by a maintenance shop approved by the lessor. Stolen devices must be reported immediately.

The equipment is not insured by the lessor. If the customer wishes, he can insure the rented equipment himself. The insurance company must be informed that the equipment is the lessor's property, if the customer's normal insurance does not cover any equipment that may be rented.

The lessor must be notified immediately of equipment damage during the rental period. If the breakdown is not due to damage or careless use, the lessor will immediately take measures to replace the equipment or restore it to working order. If the equipment requires maintenance at the lessor's expense, the equipment can only be repaired at a maintenance shop approved by the lessor and with the lessor's consent.

Returning devices

The equipment must be returned at the agreed time and within the lessor's opening hours. The devices to be returned must be properly packed and in the same condition as when picked up. Digital cameras and devices must be set to the basic settings before return, and all possible settings made by the renter must be removed/reset the device to the basic settings. The condition of the devices will be checked by both parties upon return. For possible overtime, the daily rent according to the price list will be charged without discounts. Premature return of the equipment does not obligate the lessor to refunds. Unreturned devices will be reported.

Canceled rental

Cancellation of the rental less than 24 hours before the start of the rental will be charged 50% of the rental amount or at least EUR 50.

Disputes are resolved in the sub-court of the lessor's domicile. If the customer is an individual, these conditions do not reduce the customer's rights defined in the Consumer Protection Act. The lessor reserves the right not to rent the equipment without giving a reason.
